Hello and welcome to the About Post,
please let me introduce myself to you.
My name is Heart Of Hush aka Lu, I am from Sydney Australia.
Here you will find just another one of my many creations to help others world wide.
I do hope you see the potential of this website and I have the confidence with it as well.
I ask you to see the positive from this; this can help many charities world wide, including the people donating, the people who purchase the donation to the charity.
It is all about donating your talent/gift/ profession/ goods & services to all registered charities world wide.
It is really simple, if you have a talent, profession, goods or services that you would normally get paid for, or you would give it away, then you can donate towards this.The idea of this is you donate your talent, someone buys your talent, and the money is paid to the registered charity of choice.


How did this get started
Well the idea fully came into focus after I did the last 4th of July tribute/dedication room on Paltalk for 2008, and from an email I received from a soldier, but it all started way back in 2004.
I will explain more in details on the reflections page.

What is this site all about?
This site is as the name sake is labeled
Open your Heart and Donate your Talent for Charities World Wide
Which means I am asking people to Open their wonderful Heart and Donate their fantastic Talent that was given to them and to donate for Charities World Wide.
It is a way for people who don't or won't donate to charities and not get anything for their money.
Many people had mentioned to me they would like to get something for their donation to the charities, so here is your chance to gain something for your money so to speak.

Some people had mentioned that there are so many fees they just won't give.
I have tried to keep any and all fees down as best I can.
Here they will have the chance to achieve something for their monetary donation and it could be tax deductible.


How was I going to do this?
This will be an online and offline cause/project.

My first thought was to ask singers/songwriters to donate a song recording and it can be sold to help charities, and covers as well, as I went along it became bigger, my thoughts became widespread which now will include everything humanly possible that can be sold or bought and the money from the sale will go to the charity.

From People who want to buy things
From people who have talent and from people who just love what they do.
From people who have a heart and soul.
From people who really do care.


How was I going to do this?

When did this get started?
Approximate date from the 4th of July 2008 and as soon as I create the website and get this organised it will be started immediately.

Why
Because of a young soldier writing to me and I felt I wish I could do more for him and the many soldiers alike him but also the charities world wide.

Where
This is a world wide event, this includes every country from all around the world who choose to be a part of this idea.

Who gains from this?

The artist achieves, also the person/s who has goods/services/profession/trade to donate, the buyer achieves, the charity achieves and so does the original artists as they will be paid royalties from the sale of the recordings from the designated website.
Registered non profit charities.
The public who buys the talent.
The people in need from designated charities.

Well as I had said previously, this website was being created with the vision of asking singers world wide to donate their talent. It is finally being done…
Yes I have the biggest smile on my face right now.

Well to all the singers from around the world, you too can now sing and donate your talent to charity.
And yes even cover songs, is this what you always wanted to do, well I can help you achieve this.


It doesn't matter whether you think or feel you cannot sing, the point is you love to sing, you sing from the heart, that is what counts, and if any of our wonderful visitors/listeners want to buy your recording to donate the money to a charity of choice they can.
They can even give the song/recording donation to someone else if they want too, so it is in fact a triple donation or more.

You could be a professional singer, you could be a non discovered singer, and it does not matter.
You could also be a singer/songwriter, musician, anyone in the music business can donate their talent given to them by god, it is now up to all of you to take the plunge and do this.

This is just another way of gaining exposure in the music business to this big wide wonderful world we all live in.
You never know you may just be discovered from your participation.
So what have you got to loose.

For non discovered singers who choose to sing cover songs, original artists music.
You too can be a part of this as I had mentioned previously.
To do this you will have to sign under my licensed name and only under the website I advertise this and any other project I create for the use of this license under my name as it is me who has the license to do this on this website and any other website I choose to do this under.

You must comply with the details otherwise you can and will be charged for illegally selling songs without a license.I have that licence to do just that.

Singers will have to register and sign the performance release form giving me permission to sell your recording under my signed license agreement with the required percentage to be paid in royalties to the performing rights association and the balance to be donated to charity.

Please be aware that royalties/fees need to be paid and the balance is donated to the charity of choice.
You need to let me know if you want the charity of your choice to have the donation money
or if the person who is buying your recording they can choose the charity of their choice.

You may wish to divide the charity monetary donation both ways.
That way 2 charities benefit.
You will be given the option of choice.
The royalty payments and other fees have to be paid and sent each quarterly with a statement to show the downloads/purchased from the website

Professionals/ singer/songwriters etc, you need to make sure you are not violating your contract or any signed agreement.
If there is a fee that should be paid to another association, please contact me so we can finalise the details correctly.

I would like the buyer to choose the charity of there choice

I would like both charities to benefit from our donations

For singers, we can add a song request on the webpage if you would like to have this option available to you and if you do perform the song you may consider recording the song to be added here.

Many people will not know what you sound like, so for the website I will need a demo song to be added to the website so any potential customers can listen to your voice if they don't know what you sound like.

If you decide you would like to be a part of this, then please complete the release form and send it to me along with your recording that you have given me permission to add to the website for inclusion.
I will then add your details to the website for any and all potential buyers.

Please don't forget to advise me on the charity option.
If you have a website, please send the url/link to me so that I may link to you.
If you have a picture of yourself, please send that to me as well

A single song recording will be sold for $1.59 each single download
And only one download per person per payment will it be available for download.
If the buyer looses the recording they will have to purchase it again as royalties have to be paid as per recording/per download.

How can you participate and your options.

Well let's see, you can donate your talent, trade, profession, gift, services and goods anything of monetary value that can be sold or you would have given away.
If you think you have something worth $$$ then this is the place for you.
Everyone has something worth while in their home or business, trade or profession, even their hobby.
Look around and you will see.
Here are some ideas for you to ponder over; maybe you can add some of your own ideas for others to see.



Look at yourself also, you maybe very clever in the craft to hobby field, or even a handy person.
There is a multitude of options, sit back and think about it, if you are not sure, then why don't you ask me, I will help you be aware that you do have something to offer.

Ok so now that I have worked out I DO have something to offer.
How do I do this?
How do I participate?
How do I let you know what I have?
First of all decide what you would like to donate,
Then think of a reasonable sale price to add for the sale of the item,
Take some pictures, include sizes if need be and if it is possible or explain it in full detail.
If it is more than one of the same item please include the total amount.
Add your item to one of the many for sale type/classified websites world wide
There will be many options for you to advertise this as I will include a list that I have found from googling.
Ebay, Oztion, classifieds listings,



Then sign up to which ever classified website suits you best.
Start advertising your item, include every possible detail if you can.
add the description and do the necessary details to complete your listing on the classified website and you should have a link that goes directly to your advertisement, that link can then be added to this website so people can find your listing on this website
You must make sure that you advertise on the classified website that the sale of your item is going to charity only with a link directing to this website, you need to mention this project/idea if the site will allow it.

Add this websites link to where you have advertised your donated item

For the buyers here is what you do

You will find a listing of items available for purchase on the website
You will see the option of charities that the seller has advertised
Now the seller can choose their charity of choice
Or the seller can advertise shared choices or
The seller can have the option for the buyer to choose their charity of choice

If your charity is not in the list then please ask them to participate as they have to notify the seller that you have actually paid the charity so that the seller can complete the transaction


You can purchased the donated talent profession, gift, services and goods
For the advertised price, however you do not pay the person who donated the talent profession, gift, services and goods; you make the tax deductible donation to the charity of choice from the charity listed.


Please don't put this in the too hard basket, follow your heart, you have come this far, please don't give up.
You will achieve this.
Even if you only do this once, you have been a big part of helping the charity of choice



People who think they have nothing

If you don't have anything there is another option
You could always purchase something that you feel some one may buy from anyone of the websites like ebay, oztion,direct deals, online shopping websites.

Then you can advertise the item for sale and donate the money to charity, that way many people benefit from this idea,
You can also buy a gift certificate/voucher from any one of the many online shopping websites, that way the person who buys the gift certificate/voucher can choose there item themselves
